Hello muffins!

 

Its 2013 and I am keeping a mental note to make a DIY. Been sooo lazy lately that I keep forgetting to make those. But since its summer and I am grounded, I have all these free time. Now all I need is supplies and we're all set. :)

Inspired to Thrift

Hey readers!

I have been off lately. So M-I-A in this blog, and I'm sorry. But because its summer and fashion week is fast approaching, I wanted to revive (or maybe the term I should use is resuscitate) this blog back to life.

I want to go thrift shopping. Why? One reason, I have been hearing a lot of good things about it and there are actually a lot of designs that don't come in this country that are available in other countries. My friends say that I should look for cute finds in thrift shops. (Although I don't think I could find like decent pumps in thrift shops cause I have passed by several, and their shoe section looks a little beaten up.)

I'm quite excited for this! Let's hope I could write you guys a post everyday of the summer. I also need it. :) Creative outlet.

Possibly Going To Be A DIY Experiment

Hey all you bloggers out there!

I found a lucky button (as I call it) while walking earlier. It isn't shiny or anything but I saw it just there and I picked it up. There's something attractive to me when I see big buttons.

I got this shiny black cloth (I didn't pick it up from the street though) too. I still don't know what to do with this. Maybe I'll turn it into a clutch or something.

I also have this pretty lace. (I placed it on top of the black cloth just so you guys can see the details.) I can maybe turn this into a short or a clutch as well. Maybe.

What should I do with these three? Maybe I'll make it into an accessory item? 

If this project turns out okay I'll show it to you guys. I hope it does. I'm so excited, I'll start now. :) Stay confident and keep the sunny side up!

Fall Look

Hey all you bloggers out there!

What I wore to church:
Pearl necklaces worn as bracelet
Centropelle pumps
Swatch watch
generic black sunnies
Celebrity Pink pants
Ann Taylor button down top 

I wrapped around pink and white pearls around my arm to make  it look more bulky. 

I love pearls. I believe the more pearls you have on the better (depending on occasion of course)

Here I'm showing off the detail of the necklace I locked it tightly so it won't fall off, it still has that excess bead thingy. It gives off a nice touch. The white pearls were elastic so no need to lock them.

This is possibly my best button down! I love the big buttons and the peter pan collar.  Even the sleeves fall exactly on my elbow, it gives it that nice formal feel but you can pull it off in just about anything casual. (more often I wore it as cover up for other shirts. :)

This month's favorite shoes, Centropelle 5 inch high pumps, they are a bit tight on me, so it hurt a little. Tip pick a size and a half bigger if it ends up being too big, wear support or cushions to protect your feet. That will be a more comfortable wear. I also like how this pants fit on me. Its one of my faveys. :D

This bag is a gift from NY, I use it everywhere. Its just so handy. Its from Model Co. and it has a huge ribbon in front. :D but I don't think the ribbon makes it look super girly. It just gives that extra ooomph! I love it. It can house my mini ipod, thick phone, wallet, keys, lipbalm, ID, earphones (when I'm not wearing them), plastic (sunnies that I won't worry crushing.) :)

Of Dotted Socks and Black Pumps

Hey all you bloggers out there!

Dressed down today, wore shorts and a short. (Your typical "pambahay") I couldn't really post a photo of myself wearing ratty old clothes and pass it off as high fashion (or can I?) :)) <<I should have kept my legs tighter together, it would have made for a better shot. XD lesson learned.>>

 

So what better way to accent clothing than wearing awesome shoes? Sometimes the shoes can make the complete look for you. I mean pretty shoes can make you feel pretty and confident! Even if you're wearing pyjamas!

So here's my parting words, go for comfy pretty shoes and be confident! There's nothing sexier than a girl with a simple and a bottle of confidence.

Candy Pink Nails

Hey all you bloggers out there!

Got a little crazy with pink today and decided to apply polish on my nails. I don't know how to do nail art, so I didn't have a grand design. Here's what I did do. Spots/ Dots.

Standard pink on white.

Dot a straight line. Then dot another line above it...

All Soul's Day and Braids

Hey all you bloggers out there!

I didn't go out at all today, so my outfit shot would be a little crazy cause I'm wearing an old sweater and boyshorts...

Too make up for it, I will post photos of braids I tried on today, I dunno what they're called but they look really good. :)

Its one of those undercut looks you could try, where half of your hair is down and the other isn't, an alternative to getting your hair shaved. So if you're thinking of shaving and the school won't allow it, go for this one. It also works for K-pop look.  (note to self: do a K-Pop look.)

Of course I had to lie down to take this shot, I have short hair, but this works better if your hair is long and thick. You can try it and go for a disney character role, Maybe Rapunzel if you're length would allow you. :)
